Historical Notes
Born in Jamaica, Titus Davidson, one of 16 children, grew up cooking for his family. After moving to the United States in 1972, he worked at a restaurant in his Brooklyn neighborhood. When his only daughter became a vegetarian, he added meatless recipes to his repertoire. Titus became a security guard for Morgan Stanley in 1991. On September 11, he was at work in the South Tower. He was 51 years old.
