Paterson, New Jersey, native George DiPasquale lived in Elm Park, Staten Island, with his wife, Melissa, and their one-year-old daughter. An elder in his Jehovah’s Witness congregation, George was a man of strong faith, inspiring his fellow firefighters in FDNY Ladder Company 2 to call him Holy Man. On September 11, Firefighter DiPasquale responded to the World Trade Center. He was 33 years old.
