Historical Notes
New London, Connecticut native James Roux lived in Portland, Maine. He had two sons. Once a lawyer serving corporate clients, James made a change to defending artists and the homeless in partnership with a lawyer in Nepal. Early in September, he closed his law firm for an extended trip to Thailand. On September 11, James boarded Flight 175 for the first part of his journey. He was 43 years old.
