Description Memorial button created in memory of Stephen Gerard Siller. The button depicts a photograph of Siller wearing his fire helmet and printed text: "In Loving Memory Of | Stephen G. Siller | FDNY."
Historical Notes Staten Island native Stephen Siller lived in West Brighton with his wife, Sarah, and their five children. After a 24-hour shift at FDNY Squad 1, he would often golf with his brothers, lunch with his wife, and play with his children before he slept. On September 11, Firefighter Siller called Sarah after his shift to tell her he would be late. He responded to the towers. He was 34 years old.
