Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, native Marianne Simone lived in Great Kills, Staten Island. Her funny stories and stunts reminded relatives of the antics on television’s I Love Lucy. A mother of three, Marianne planned to retire in 2003 and move closer to her grandchildren. On September 11, she was on the North Tower’s 101st floor at Cantor Fitzgerald, where she was a communications specialist. She was 62 years old.
