Born in Brussels, Belgium, Patrice Braut lived in the Riverdale area of the Bronx with his girlfriend, Lupe. Patrice played soccer, traveled, and enjoyed taking photographs. He and Lupe were planning to visit his parents in Europe for Christmas in 2001. Patrice worked in technology at Marsh & McLennan. On September 11, he was at his office on the 97th floor of the North Tower. Patrice was 31 years old.
