Historical Notes
Running late for work in the South Tower on 9/11, Hazem Gamal witnessed the building’s collapse from the street. More than a year later, he and his wife, Liz, were contacted by a demolition consultant, Ray Coleman, who had found letters addressed to Gamal in the debris at Ground Zero, including RSVPs to the couple’s wedding.
