The quilt on the far left was created in memory of
Steven Joseph Bates. The border is blue with a firefighter-themed fabric, and the center of the quilt is red. In the center is a portrait photo transfer with a New York Yankees-themed fabric border. The name "LT. Steven Bates" is appliquéd. There are three patches at the top.
The second quilt was created in memory of the three victims with connections to St. Bonaventure University,
Mychal F. Judge,
Amy O'Doherty, and
Robert David Peraza. A photo transfer of each victim is in the center, below an appliquéd image of the Twin Towers with a graphic of Bonaventure University.
The third quilt was created in memory of
Orio Joseph Palmer. The quilt has pieces of paper with written remembrances and tributes as well as photos sewn onto the fabric and covered with clear plastic.
The quilt on the far right was created in memory of
Patrick J. Waters. The border is a cream-colored fabric with a fire engine print, and the center of the quilt is red fabric. In the center is a portrait photo transfer with a New York Yankees-themed fabric border. The name "Capt. Patrick Waters" is appliquéd. There are several patches at the top.
