The first quilt was created in memory of
Donald G. Havlish Jr. The border fabric is of the NYC skyline at night with the Twin Towers. There are multiple photo transfers and written remembrances. In the center is a portrait photograph with embroidery above depicting a duck and text: "Donald G. Havish Jr." Below the photograph is embroidery depicting two ducks and text: "I Love You | 01-25-48 — 09-11-01."
The second quilt is red with blue appliquéd stars and was created in memory of
Peter A. Chirchirillo. The fabric in the center depicts a big teddy bear sleeping on a crescent moon. A photo transfer is to its left. On the back is a small photo transfer with a note from Clara, Mike, and Nick.
The quilt on the top right, created in memory of
John Michael Rodak is primarily green with a cream-colored border and is covered in scrapbook page photo transfers. At the bottom is text: "The Space Between the Tears We Cry is the Laughter that Keeps Us Coming Back for More. | We Love and Miss You John. Love Mom and Joanne."
The quilt on the bottom right was created in memory of
Peter Keith Ortale and is covered in photo transfers, each framed with American flag-themed fabric.
