Historical Notes
Many individuals acted selflessly on 9/11, battling flames and aiding trapped and injured coworkers. At the World Trade Center, survivors often did not know those who came to their aid. The World Trade Center Survivors’ Network emerged as a forum for survivors to connect with one another, share resources, and build relationships with others affected by terrorism.
