Historical Notes
Many 9/11 survivors questioned their fate. For those who had traded work hours with colleagues or failed to convince coworkers to evacuate, the aftermath of 9/11 was especially difficult. Some survivors, including Hilary North, who witnessed the collapse of the South Tower while running late to work at Aon Corporation, turned to creative expression to work through what had happened.
