Curator's Comment Jennifer Fialko was co-captain of the varsity softball team at River Dell High School in New Jersey and continued to play sports into adulthood. She remained athletic during her battle with Hodgkin’s disease in her twenties, even pinch-hitting a home run in a company softball championship game while undergoing chemotherapy. Jennifer was more than three years into remission in August 2001, when she started a new job at Aon Corporation at the World Trade Center. After 9/11, the Jennifer L. Fialko Memorial Scholarship was established to provide financial support to a female varsity athlete graduating from River Dell High School each year. HIDE
