Historical Notes Nezam Hafiz was born in Guyana, where he played on the national cricket team as a teenager. He moved to the United States, settled in Queens, and became a member of the U.S. cricket team and captain of the American Cricket Society. Nezam worked at Marsh & McLennan as a computer analyst. On September 11, he was at his office on the 94th floor of the North Tower. Nezam was 32 years old.
